Collaboration with Lotus Featured in Playboy Netherlands
In 2026, one of my paintings became part of a collaboration with Lotus Cars. The artwork was translated into a full car wrap on a Lotus Eletre, resulting in an editorial feature in Playboy Nederland.
From canvas to car wrap
The starting point was an existing painting from my studio. Instead of being reproduced as a wall piece, the composition was adapted to fit the contours of a vehicle.
A car wrap requires more than scaling up an image. Body panels interrupt the composition, curves distort perspective, and light reflection affects color perception. The artwork was therefore carefully restructured to maintain visual balance when applied to the car.
Featured in Playboy Netherlands
The collaboration was documented in an editorial photoshoot and published in Playboy Netherlands. The feature highlighted the intersection of contemporary art, design and automotive culture.
This project reflects my broader approach: artwork can exist beyond traditional gallery walls and translate into new contexts while retaining its integrity.
